Required Fields During Checkout
Hello,
I am submitting this request due to a customer support ticket I received. It is not always immediately clear, other than a small asterisk *, which fields are required during checkout. The "Next" button to proceed to the next page is greyed out until all required fields are completed, though I feel the missing required fields could be made more clear to customers to improve the checkout experience.
The suggestion this customer made was to highlight the missing information to prevent confusion. For example, some other web forms would allow you to click "Next" regardless, but if any required fields are still missing it then puts a rectangle around them or highlights them in red and states that all required fields must be completed before proceeding.
